This year, for us and everyone that belongs to our family in Destiny House Christian Centre, The King’s People Connection, Happy Marriage Training Programme, LapxinCrowns Enterprises and A. T. Adenekan Ministry, our theme is one word, SUCCEED!
It is an action word, an instruction, and the centre of our activities as individuals and collectively as an organisation. It is what we focus upon and what we do this year. It is not the year to succeed, but the year we SUCCEED!
If you belong to The King’s People Connection and Happy Marriage Training Programme, your focus in this 2020 is to succeed in life and at everything you do.
This must be your thoughts, your songs, your words and your actions. Success must be what you focus your attention upon this year.
Therefore, this year, involve yourself only in what you want to succeed at, don’t be too occupied with so many things, but just few things that will bring you success or where you know you’ll succeed.
To succeed means to achieve the intended result, to achieve your heart desires, to do what you wanted to do, to become what you desire to be.
So, if you must succeed this year, you must begin by knowing what you want to succeed at and where exactly you want to succeed.
It is obvious that you can’t succeed at just anything and everything even if you have the power to do everything, because you are limited as a person and you have limited time, energy and resources.
But you can succeed at everything you deliberately get yourself involved in. That is why you must choose what you do this year and not just do everything or just anything.
It is said that jacks of all trades are usually masters of none. That means if you’re involved in everything or too many things, you’ll not be able to master anything or any of them.
Why?
Mastery requires focus. Focus requires time and energy. Since you can’t focus on everything in life, you can never succeed at everything.
So, you must choose what you focus on this year. And what you focus on must be what you want to succeed at.
So, I ask you, where do you want to succeed this year? That is the exact thing you must focus upon in 2020. That is where you must spend your time, energy, money and resources.
You can’t be a footballer, a singer, an engineer, an actor and a pilot all at the same time and succeed at each of them, at once.
Because each of these things is a major field in life that requires much time and energy for success. So you can’t focus on all of them at the same time and succeed. Not even JESUS CHRIST did that.
But you can actually succeed at each of them in your lifetime if you choose to focus on one at a time or decide to devote a period of years to learn and then practise each.
JESUS was a carpenter at one time and a preacher, teacher and healer at another. He devoted time to each in His lifetime and could later practise all if He wanted to.
So, this year, you must choose exactly what you want to focus upon and that is where you must put your energy, time, money and resources into.
Focus on what you want to succeed at this year, and put your best into it, do your best at it, and you shall surely succeed there.
This year, we succeed. I didn’t say we shall succeed. I said WE SUCCEED. The word “shall” is a future tense or a promise. A future tense is used for something that happens or is meant to happen in the future, and a promise can fail.
So, success for us this year is not a promise or future event. We are not planning to succeed or wishing to succeed this year, rather we are succeeding, WE SUCCEED THIS YEAR 2020.
If you belong to any ministry or organisation I found and lead, and if you’re a member of The King’s People Connection and Happy Marriage Training Programme, this is your focus this year, your songs, your thoughts, your words, and your actions, YOU SUCCEED!
We shall have series of teachings, projects, training and programmes this year, everything is focused on helping each member to succeed at what we choose this year.
Make sure you participate at every of the programme that is important to your success. Don’t miss anyone that you need. And don’t plan to get something for nothing this year. It doesn’t work anywhere.
Don’t be among those who deceive themselves. And read every single post I make to our Platforms that you belong this year, every single one.
We have two Scriptures that guide us this year.
Mark 9:23, Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.
If you believe you will succeed this year, you will succeed this year. Therefore, you succeed this year. Success is possible for you and success is what you do and what you have in this 2020.
Joshua 1:8, This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
This is the number one thing that helps us succeed this year, Faith and Action in and based on the Word of God. We read it, study it, practice it and live by it throughout the year 2020.
