We Can Do It. Yes, We Can Stop Rape. We May Not Stop It in All of the World, But We Can Stop It in Our Immediate Environment.
How?
By Training Our Boys Well to Value Our Girls Well, and By Training Our Girls Well to Dress Well Before Our Boys, Value Themselves Better and Respect Their Body More.
When I Say Our Boys and Our Girls, I Mean All of the Boys and Girls Around You That You Have Influence On; People You Can Talk to That Can Listen to You; Boys and Girls That Were Born After You, Live in Your House, Live Under Your Roof, Live on Your Street, Attend Same School with You; Those Boys and Girls That You Senior, That You Pastor, That You Gave Birth to, That Look Up to You, That Live Where You Live.
Rape Can’t Stop Just By We All Shouting “SAY NO TO RAPE!” No. Rape Can Only Stop By Our Conscious Efforts and Actions of Speaking to and Training Our Boys to Value, Honour and Respect Our Girls and Our Girls to Get Wiser, Dress Better, Get Profitably Busier and Respect Their Body Always.
If You Truly Want to Stop a Problem, Look for the Cause and Remove That Cause. When the Cause Is Removed Then the Effect Will Be Gone; It’ll Naturally Disappear. Shouting Does Not Stop a Problem, Actions, the Right Kind of Action Does.
My Focus Is Not on What Has Already Happened, There Are People Saddled With the Responsibility of Handling That. But My Focus Is on How to Prevent the Next One from Happening; and More Importantly, How to Prevent It from Happening to You, Your Friend, Your Girl, Your Daughter, Your Neighbour, Your Member and Someone Around You. My Focus Is How to Ensure You or Someone Close to You Is Not the Next Victim.
Whether You Accept It or Not, the Truth Remains the Same: Rape Won’t Stop By Jailing the Rapists for Life or Sentencing Them to Death; It’ll Only Stop By Removing the Cause of the Rape, By Removing the Stimulus to Rape, By Taking Measures to Prevent the Next One from Happening.
A Girl That Is Raped May Not Have Been the One That Caused or Stimulated That Rape, But Another Girl on the Street or Somewhere Before Her That Wore or Did Something That Made an Undisciplined Boy Have an Undisciplined Thought That Caused an Undisciplined Action That Made Him Prey on an Innocent Well Dressed Girl Who Became a Victim.
- We Must Teach Our Girls How to Dress Well Outside the Home.
- We Must Teach Our Girls How Not to Visit a Boy at the Wrong or Odd Hour of the Day.
- We Must Teach Our Girls How Not to Visit a Boy Who Lives Alone Again in the Home.
- We Must Teach Our Girls How Not to Be Alone in a Lonely Place.
- We Must Teach Our Girls How Not to Stay Alone for Too Long With a Boy That’s Not Their Blood.
When We Take These Measures, It May Not Totally Eradicate the Evil Immediately But It Will Drastically Reduce It From Ten to One, and With Time Fade It Off Totally.
I Know What I’m Talking About, I’ve Talked to and Helped Tens of Rape Victims to Become Victors in Life and Be Perfectly Healed in the Heart and from the Past. These Are Some of the Things I’ve Discovered Based on Findings as Lasting Solution to This Situation. I’ll Tell More With Time.
